As far as it was possible of course, as the improvements of the Q2 engine like turning lights and raising lava isn’t possible in Quake. Also it wasn’t possible to rescale the level, as a quarter size would have been sufficient. After several proofs with leaks I decided to take the scale for granted as it covered up the demon fiends in good conditions. Flavoured up with some animating statics it serves up well for 20 years of Quake. Plays as easy as a corned taste of popcorn.
Medieval level of a cell generator, connekted with a long cavet corridor, leading to a rocky vestement. There are quiet a lot of new monsters brushed up in the level, as some new static models to furnish the level. The thing is packed in a skybox I made with the cliffdemons of poison which gave it a tidy look of an ancient rune fallen out of grip of the old one into a fragment of time in the quake universe.
